Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
  • Experience in the utilities industry specifically in Transmission projects.
  • Associate degree (two - year college or university).
  • Working knowledge of project management principles.
  • Skills ranging from working knowledge to proficiency in: Project Management Decision Making Critical Thinking & Problem Solving Project Leadership Risk Management Team Collaboration
  • Demonstrated project - related work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of transmission capital construction projects from initiation through closeout.
  • Maintain and update project cost forecasts, schedules, risk registers, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate and direct project team members including engineering, procurement, construction, and field operations personnel.
  • Conduct weekly site visits to monitor construction progress, safety compliance, and contractor performance.
  • Facilitate project meetings and provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet quality, safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans to reduce impact on schedule or budget.
  • Support consistent application of PMCoE methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and leadership up to senior department management.
