Job Purpose Support successful project execution with organized coordination, clear communication, and proactive collaboration with internal teams and clients. Manage project logistics, documentation, and team coordination while developing both technical and soft skills as a growing project leader.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or extensive background directly in Commercial Construction Management or Engineering
  • 2+ years progressive experience in technical construction projects
  • Proficient with computer applications such as MS Office, MS Project/P-6, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, Jonas Premier
  • Ability to develop detailed project schedules
  • Solid understanding of the building permit process & all building trades, including MEP.
  • Proficient in a negotiated, customer-service based project delivery environment
  • Ability to successfully procure, monitor, and assess subcontracted construction functions such as electrical contractors
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization, as well as outside customers and vendors
  • Organizational skills needed to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, customer-focused environment while managing competing priorities.

  • High School or GED
  • Experience with PDF editor, Google Docs and Sheets (or Word and Excel), and a general computing background
  • Frequent bending, reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, and lifting 20 lbs. or more.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and review contracts, identifying risk and confirming proper scope and exclusions; communicate key issues to the project team
  • Assist with creating and managing project control estimates
  • Support all phases of the project including estimating, scheduling, procurement, submittals, change orders, RFIs, budgeting, reporting, billing, rebate management, and closeout
  • Maintain accurate project files and documentation; confirm executed versions and align cost control with forecasting expectations
  • Affirm required permits, inspections, and testing to ensure timely and cost-effective execution
  • Manage accuracy and impacts of updates, project schedule revisions, invoicing and documentation to align with client expectations and contract terms
  • Oversee materials receiving and project schedules to accommodate unforeseen adjustments
  • Prepare accurate monthly billing; resolve discrepancies and communicate budget updates during weekly financial reviews
  • Track master budget updates and collaborate with the CM team to reflect actual costs
  • Maintain up-to-date project templates prior to issuance
  • Review and post weekly time entries; ensure accurate coding by CSI, job type, and task
  • Attend weekly construction meetings
  • Lead client communication and OAC meetings; coordinate with owners, design teams and subcontractors
  • Leverage construction software tools (e.g., Jonas, Smartsheet, Slack) to improve project tracking and team efficiencies including the use of project dashboards to monitor project progress, identify risks, and inform decision-making
  • Collaborate with Construction Manager(s) to resolve field challenges and adjust to mitigate risks
  • Coordinate with the AP Manager to ensure certifications and legal documents meet project requirements
  • Monitor inventory usage and ensure tracking sheets are updated by procurement, field, and service teams
  • Model and reinforce MYNT’s culture, policies, and ethical standards
  • Promote and support MYNT’s safety practices across all construction activities
  • Contribute to pre-construction and deal closing efforts, including RFP/RFQ responses and bid comparisons
  • Assist with the bidding process by preparing and distributing scopes of work and instructions to bidders; identify risks and mitigation strategies
  • Support subcontractor buyout by coordinating agreement drafts, exhibits, and execution
  • Handle confidential data professionally.
  • Additional tasks as assigned by the management team(s).
