About The Position

MELE Associates, Inc. is seeking to add an experienced Project Manager to support the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) in the execution of its mission, including providing technical, programmatic management, environmental planning and logistics support services. This full-time on-site position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

  • Current, active DOE Q Clearance/Top Secret Clearance with ability to acquire SCI.
  • Bachelor’s degree in management or business-related field. Eight (8) years of relevant experience is equivalent to a four (4) year bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum five (5) years of government experience
  • Superior communication, organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support Strategic Partnership Programs (SPP) work product business management.
  • Review SPP proposals for completeness, update as necessary, and forward to the SPP project sponsor for funding consideration.
  • Solicit SPP proposals from site M&O Contractors, obtain data, and produce official cost estimates with projected delivery information for the DoD on the procurement of military spares, DOE-designed special equipment, and the repair of special equipment.
  • Track outstanding requests for SPP proposals and follow up on unsatisfied requests with site M&O Contractors.
  • Review SPP funding packages for completeness, update as necessary, prepare funding distribution packages, forward them to Field Offices for certification and acceptance, address questions during SPP funding package certification, and return accepted packages to the sponsor for further processing.
  • Keep the SPP database current, prepare monthly reports on SPP status and distribute them to divisions with active SPP projects, run monthly DOE Standard Accounting and Reporting System (STARS) reports for active SPP projects, monitor delivery schedules to ensure requirements are supported and within budgets, produce monthly Air Force Spares Management, Special Equipment Production, and Trainer Refurbishment Production Reports for the DoD, and run historical STARS reports for SPP projects as they near completion and to facilitate audits.
  • Reconcile active and closing SPP projects with Field Offices and sponsors.
  • Prepare requests for items to be loaned to or loaned from DoD organizations.
