About The Position

Our Implementation / Delivery team is growing, and we need a player/coach who can keep the big picture in focus while still getting hands-on with key client work. This role sits at the intersection of Client Success, Product, and Engineering—you’ll oversee resource allocation and delivery health across all active projects, while also personally leading select SaaS implementations for financial advisory clients. You’ll mentor and develop a team of project managers, continuously improve our PMO processes and playbooks, and serve as the go-to when projects need senior attention. You don’t need to be the most technical person in the room—you need the judgment to manage delivery across a portfolio, the instinct to spot problems early, and the people skills to develop your team and keep clients confident. This isn’t a role that exists in a silo. You’ll collaborate across teams, contribute to discussions that shape how we work, and see your impact on real client outcomes every day.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in project management or program management roles, with at least 3 years in SaaS, software implementation, or technology delivery environments
  • Experience managing resources across multiple concurrent projects—capacity planning, allocation, and cross-project coordination
  • Experience managing client relationships through complex, multi-phase SaaS implementations; comfort at the executive-stakeholder level
  • Ability to independently manage workload and prioritize deliverables across a portfolio of engagements
  • Experience contributing to or improving PMO practices, delivery frameworks, or implementation playbooks
  • Sufficient technical fluency to ask the right questions and understand dependencies—not to configure the platform yourself
  • Leadership experience—formal or informal—mentoring or developing project managers or delivery team members
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered

Nice To Haves

  • SaaS, fintech, or financial services industry experience
  • PMP, PgMP, CSM / Scrum certification, or equivalent (practical experience prioritized over certifications)
  • Understanding of the financial advisory ecosystem
  • Experience with portfolio-level reporting tools (e.g., Jira dashboards, resource management platforms)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full portfolio of active implementation projects, managing resource allocation, capacity planning, and delivery health across the team
  • Lead select SaaS implementation projects hands-on for financial advisory clients, from discovery through go-live and hypercare
  • Own cross-project coordination: identify dependencies, resolve resource conflicts, and ensure consistent delivery standards across all engagements
  • Serve as the escalation point for client and project issues across the portfolio—stepping in when projects need senior attention
  • Track team KPIs including on-time delivery, utilization, and client satisfaction scores
  • Continuously improve PMO standards, templates, and delivery playbooks that define how the team operates
  • Regularly assess and refine implementation processes and workflows to improve delivery efficiency and client outcomes
  • Solicit feedback from internal stakeholders and clients to identify areas for improvement and implement actionable solutions
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers—conducting regular 1:1s, quarterly performance reviews, and career development conversations
  • Partner with leadership on capacity planning and hiring decisions to support team growth
  • Identify opportunities for professional development and career advancement for team members
  • Collaborate with Client Success, Product, and Engineering to align delivery efforts with broader company objectives
  • Work with cross-functional teams to strategically address and improve roadblocks within the client implementation process
  • Foster a collaborative environment where teams work together to deliver value to clients
