About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is looking for a Project Management Specialist – Associate or Mid-Level (Level 2 or 3) to support the KC-46 and to join our dynamic team in Everett, WA. A successful candidate has strong communication skills, who clearly and concisely, follows through, and builds strong, positive relationships with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels. This role will work closely with the production value stream stakeholders including but not limited to design engineering, manufacturing engineering, operations, industrial engineering, supply chain, and integrated planning and scheduling.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Experience in Production Operations
• Experience in collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communication
• This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
• To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
• Level 2: 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• Current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• 1+ years of experience in production programs
• Experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
• Experience working on airplane programs or supporting the production system
• Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals
• Experience working in a multifaceted work environment, to include managing multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Supports preparation, development, coordination, scheduling, and change management activities of maintaining an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
• Participates in maintaining, analyzing and producing metrics related to plans.
• Assists more experienced personnel with risk assessments, developing mitigation plan and refining the business case.
• Develops, collects, organizes and provides data, updates task, to maintain status of programs, schedule, customer and supplier commitments and compliance.
• Coordinates document work statements and resulting schedules.
• Identifies and provide reports on performance variances, project status, change information to project team.
• Communicates plan changes and recovery plans to ensure commitment to stakeholders.
