About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Airplane Systems organization is seeking Project Management Specialists (Associate, Experienced, or Senior) for the 777X Mechanical Systems team in Everett, Washington. As a 777X Mechanical Systems Project Management Specialist, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, manufacturing, suppliers, and stakeholders, to develop and implement project plans, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure effective communication throughout the project. The role requires strong leadership and organizational skills. You will be responsible for coordinating resources, managing budgets, and tracking project progress, ensuring that all deliverables are met with the highest quality standards. Your ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously will be essential in this dynamic and fast-paced environment. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate, Experienced, or Senior.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience
  • 3+ years of experience supporting cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certification, such as Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Experience working on airplane systems or integrated system development projects
  • Experience working with teams across a diverse set of skills from Engineering to Production to Supplier Management
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum project management framework
  • Experience using JIRA or other Agile workflow management tools and ability to help teams better integrate and drive reporting from the tool

Responsibilities

  • Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
  • Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.
  • Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.
  • Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers.
  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
  • Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.
