About The Position

The Project Management Specialist is a key role within Prudential Advisors’ Marketing and Communications Organization. This role drives the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects, including sponsorships, awards, and recognition initiatives, while ensuring operational excellence and supporting Prudential Advisors’ ability to gain and sustain a competitive advantage in the marketplace. The Project Management Specialist also serves as a bridge between the business and central functions, transforming complex project data into insights that inform business decisions and drive growth.

Requirements

  • 3 years experience in project management within a creative, marketing, or internal and external communications environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize data and present actionable insights to inform leadership decisions.
  • Strong strategic and operational mindset, with experience optimizing team resources and workflows.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a track record of driving and influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in budget management and resource allocation.
  • Technical fluency in campaign production, Martech and Workfront is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing awards processes and sponsorships or events is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Project manage steps in a range of initiatives, ensuring all stakeholders remain on task and meet deliverables.
  • Synthesize complex project data into clear, actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Anticipate challenges and identify strategic opportunities beyond daily execution.
  • Ensure operational efficiency by identifying process improvements and removing bottlenecks to boost team productivity.
  • Manage project budgets with financial discipline, recommending cost-effective solutions and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Evaluate and optimize the team’s internal capabilities and contractor needs, recommending the optimal mix to meet business priorities.
  • Maintain a forward-looking vision, aligning team actions with Prudential Advisors’ strategic goals and long-term objectives.
  • Provide technical expertise for campaigns, with a strong understanding of Martech Communications, and technical specifications.
  • Influence and align the team’s work with overall business and enterprise objectives, championing big-picture thinking.
