About The Position

Project Management Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Project Management Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior) to join the B-52 program Team based in Everett, Washington. The successful candidate will have an outstanding opportunity to work on the Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP) in the BCA environment, while collaborating with BDS counterparts. The position will require standard scheduling/project management responsibilities, focusing on schedule development, integration and analysis. This is an opportunity to expand skills beyond the typical WASM domain. Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced (Level 3) and Senior (Level 4) Project Management Specialist.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of experience in Project Management OR Master's Degree and 4+ years experience in Project Management OR 10+ years experience in Project Management
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

  • Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
  • Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to resolve impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.
  • Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.
  • Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement standard methodologies that support project decision makers.
  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key partner requirements and project objectives.
  • Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to collaborators.
  • Leads, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for sophisticated projects, programs and change driven activities in accordance with project management industry.
  • Leads studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), reports, risk assessments and planning efforts to resolve impacts, constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.
  • Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the case.
  • Develops and establishes lead time requirements.
  • Facilitates and ensures integration of project/program plan, schedules, change and baseline management, processes, techniques considered to be standard methodology across the industry.
  • Coordinates commitments with internal and external collaborators to fulfill strategies.
