About The Position

Welcome to ILIAS At ILIAS, we develop mission-critical software for defense organizations around the world. Our platforms support air forces, navies, and defense units in managing complex fleets, assets, and operations — often in environments where reliability, accuracy, and continuity are essential. We believe technology should do more than just function. It should enable people to operate with confidence, clarity, and control. That’s why our solutions are built to perform under pressure, supporting real-world missions and real responsibilities. Working at ILIAS means being part of a team that takes ownership. You contribute to systems that matter, collaborate with experts who understand the impact of their work, and help shape technology that supports safety, readiness, and long-term operational success. We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Project Management Officer (PMO) to join our team. As a starter in this role, you will be the backbone of our project delivery teams, ensuring that the software implementations for our global defense clients run smoothly, transparently, and efficiently. You don't need years of experience; you need a sharp mind, an eye for detail, and the drive to learn how complex software projects are managed from kick-off to deployment. You will work closely with Senior Project Managers, cross-functional tech teams, and client stakeholders, gaining hands-on experience in a high-stakes, high-reward environment.

Requirements

  • Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, IT Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0 to 2 years of professional experience. (Recent graduates with a strong interest in project management and IT are highly encouraged to apply!)
  • Mindset: Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented. You thrive in structured environments but can adapt when plans change.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. You know how to ask the right questions and convey information clearly.
  • Tech Affinity: A strong interest in the software development lifecycle.
  • Discretion: Given the nature of our clients (defense organizations), a high sense of integrity, security awareness, and professional discretion is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or Excel is a big plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Delivery: Assist Senior Project Managers in drafting project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
  • Track & Report: Monitor project progress, track budgets, and update dashboards to ensure all stakeholders have real-time visibility into project health.
  • Maintain Documentation: Keep project repositories organized, ensuring all meeting minutes, action items, risk logs, and deliverables are accurately recorded and easily accessible.
  • Facilitate Communication: Organize project meetings, prepare presentation materials, and actively follow up with team members on pending tasks.
  • Process Improvement: Bring a fresh perspective! Help us identify bottlenecks and contribute to the continuous improvement of our PMO tools and methodologies.

Benefits

  • Impactful Work: A chance to start your career working on mission-critical projects that directly impact global safety and readiness.
  • Mentorship & Growth: Work side-by-side with seasoned industry experts who are dedicated to helping you grow into a fully-fledged Project Manager.
  • Competitive Package: A solid starter salary with an attractive benefits package.
  • Great Culture: A collaborative, no-nonsense environment where ownership is encouraged, and your contributions are valued from day one.
