Summary: Provide operational leadership and direction for a team of Project Managers within WT Americas, ensuring that all project initiatives and activities are completed on time and within budget. This role bridges strategic objectives with daily execution by implementing standardized project management methodologies, fostering a high-performance culture, and driving cross-functional alignment to support customer success and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field; advanced degree (MS, MBA, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
  • Experience in project management, preferably in industrial or water treatment sectors.
  • Proven track record in Project Management driving integration and optimizing project execution.
  • Experience developing and implementing standardized project management methodologies and tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience leveraging data for project oversight and decision-making.
  • Travel opportunities up to 20%.
  • Project Management Expertise: Deep understanding of PM methodologies, tools, and best practices.

  • Regularly required to sit for prolonged periods; required to stand, walk, and use business equipment daily such as a computer, copier, telephone, etc.; occasionally required to reach overhead, bend, and lift objects of up to 15 lbs. Complex thinking and analysis required with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and enforce standardized PM methodologies, tools, and governance frameworks across the project management team to ensure consistency.
  • Support the integration of legacy teams into a single, high-performing organization by driving the adoption of standardized tools and processes.
  • Lead efforts to develop and/or improve policies, procedures, processes, and systems to effectively manage projects at the operational level.
  • Oversee the team's execution of customer and internal projects, ensuring revenue, margin, and on-time delivery targets are met and aligned with scope and quality standards.
  • Monitor all project progress and metrics, including overseeing designated engineering, procurement, production, delivery, startup, and commissioning personnel for the respective projects.
  • Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, assessing and managing risk within, and across, multiple projects.
  • Monitor and assign resources appropriately across the team's portfolio to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs.
  • Lead, manage, and performance-manage a team of Project Managers through annual reviews, motivation surveys, and constructive feedback.
  • Train and develop members of the collaborator team to meet expected objectives and follow processes and standards.
  • Ensure the project management team performs their duties in a safe manner and promotes safety to others in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Build strong relationships with Sales, Operations, Portfolio & Engineering, Service, and QHES leaders regionally.
  • Effectively manage escalated customer and field service requirements for new and existing customers.
  • Proactively coordinate with all departments to ensure timely execution of projects, maximization of profits, and effective use of Company resources. bottlenecks, clarifies project priorities, identifies risks, and escalates issues that cannot be internally resolved.
  • Consistent, on-time, and on-budget project delivery across the managed team's portfolio.
  • Successful adoption and optimization of standardized PM processes within the team.
  • Measurable improvements in efficiency and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Employee Motivation and Satisfaction within the direct reporting team.
  • Responsible for performing duties in a safe manner and promoting safety in accordance with Water Treatment Americas safety policies and procedures.
  • Complies with Quality Management Systems in accordance with Water Treatment Americas internal quality standards.
  • Complete all responsibilities while ensuring adherence to Water Treatment Americas Delegation of Authority.
