This paid Summer Internship Program offers a unique opportunity for students interested in the live entertainment industry to learn and contribute to real-world projects. As a Summer Intern Project Manager based in New York, you'll play a vital role in managing construction activities for both new and existing venues in the surrounding areas. You'll work closely with and be supported by a local Director of Project Management, gaining invaluable insights into venue development processes. This position provides exposure to diverse aspects of project management, allowing you to apply your academic learning and develop key skills such as leadership, problem-solving, and communication. This is a part-time position, offering up to 40 hours per week.

  • Assist the construction development team in coordinating and managing various aspects of venue construction projects.
  • Support administrative tasks related to project documentation, scheduling, and budget tracking.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform decision-making processes during project planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including contractors, architects, and regulatory authorities, to ensure project compliance and success.
  • Assist in conducting site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and address any issues that may arise.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project status, milestones, and key insights to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Undertake a final internship project, assigned at the beginning of the program, and present findings at the end.
  • Recent graduate or currently enrolled in an accredited College or University, preferably in a field related to project management, construction management, or civil engineering.
  • Recent college graduate or Junior or Senior standing.
  • Previous experience or coursework in project management, construction management, or related fields is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive mindset and a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Comfort with physical tasks such as conducting site visits and inspections.
