About The Position

As a Project Management Intern, you will support the planning, development, and delivery of capital projects within the Project Management Office. You will gain hands-on experience in project development, controls, and reporting, assisting experienced Project Managers and Engineers in ensuring projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget. Other duties include: Support Project Managers and Engineers with project documentation, reporting, and data collection Assist in developing project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts under supervision. Participate in safety reviews, job hazard analyses, and site walkdowns Help prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and status reports Learn and apply the PMO's Project Management System (PMS) and FEL stage-gate process Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including standard templates, data dashboards, and project tracking tools Maintain project files and support document control processes. Shadow senior team members to gain exposure to stakeholder engagement, procurement, and contractor management. Ensure compliance with Company HSEOE policies and actively promote safe work practices.

Requirements

  • Junior level standing pursuing Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline), or Construction Management, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles (scope, schedule, cost, and risk)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills. Comfortable working in field and office environments
  • Willingness to learn about engineering drawings, equipment specifications, and process system
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player

Responsibilities
