The Strategic Programs and Operations team, in Corporate Operations & Planning (CO&P), leads high-impact, cross-divisional initiatives, programs and projects that drive strategic transformation and operational excellence across SAS. The team accelerates SAS’s strategic vision and transforms prioritized initiatives into measurable results through program alignment, governance, decision analytics, and business impact. Through disciplined execution, we strive to deliver on time, within scope, and with measurable value, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement that drives long-term business success. As an intern, you might: Collaborate with Program Managers and Data Scientists to support delivery of programs, projects, and activities that advance SAS’s strategic goals and initiatives. Support and monitor schedules, timelines and/or program or project plans to effectively track and monitor progress. Attend meetings and working sessions with colleagues and team members to support management of deliverables and to monitor and report progress. Proactively manage action items and work items to resolve issues in partnership with stakeholders to maintain program or project delivery within defined scope and timelines. Build and modify work products such as documents, presentations, and/or spreadsheets to support business operations.

Requirements

  • You are an undergraduate student studying Business Administration, Business Management, Communications, Project Management, or related degree; not graduating prior to December 2026.
  • You have experience with Microsoft 365, including Copilot or similar AI integration
  • You’re curious, passionate, authentic and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Leadership abilities. Your past experiences demonstrate you’ll take initiative and go above and beyond the call of duty.
