About The Position

Sun Hydraulics, LLC in Sarasota, FL has a paid Project Management internship opportunity available for summer. We fill the summer openings by mid-March. Junior and senior level students are offered an introductory hydraulics class. The internship offers the opportunity to see how the different engineering classes are applied in a manufacturing and engineering business. Toward the end of the internship, we ask interns to give group presentations suggesting improvements that they may have identified during the defined project.

Requirements

• MUST BE A JUNIOR OR SENIOR STUDENT TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION
• Hands on, self-motivated students from Engineering related programs are encouraged to apply.

Nice To Haves

• Undergraduate and graduate students that have had project management internship experience especially encouraged to apply but is not required.
• Our preference is for students who have an interest in a project management career working in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Support project management software implementation and improvements
• Support project management work instructions updates and process improvements
• Support resource management and budget tracking enhancements
• Support predictive project budgeting and scheduling
