About The Position

The IT Project Manager intern is a position that coordinates and manages the planning, producing, and implementing process to create new and revised Church technology products and services. The projects are of low complexity and have a limited scope and time frame. This individual is responsible for seeing the project from initiation to delivery. This position plans and directs the schedule while managing the project budgets and working with department directors. This individual works with divine guidance to provide or support technology that furthers the mission of the Church and reflects the eternal impact of the gospel.

Requirements

  • Paid Interns are qualified while enrolled in an educational institution and for one year following graduation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical support during the week including Thursday evening rehearsals and occasional Sunday morning performances
  • Assist with technical support, project management of Tabernacle Choir systems, and end‑user systems as assigned
  • Respond to basic technical issues in real time and escalate more complex problems to senior IT staff
  • Assist with routine checks of equipment and technology
  • Document issues, resolutions, and observations to help improve reliability and future support
  • Follow established IT and security processes to ensure consistent, high-quality support
