About The Position

The Project Management Intern will provide essential administrative support to the department and project teams. This includes scheduling and coordinating meetings, generating meeting minutes, preparing presentations, and creating and maintaining action item lists. The intern will also support project teams by maintaining project files and creating and maintaining reports. Additionally, the intern will manage simultaneous small projects as assigned and provide support for larger projects. The role emphasizes following and applying SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles, with a focus on understanding, creating, and simplifying processes. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to learn and communicate technical information.
  • Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Background check results satisfactory to SEL.
  • Negative drug test result(s).

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Lotus Notes.
  • Knowledge of Agile project management skills, techniques, and terminology.

Responsibilities
