About The Position

The Project Management Intern is responsible for supporting, communicating with, and motivating cross-functional teams to complete project tasks on schedule and within budget. This role involves helping in the creation and maintenance of project documentation for planning, requirements analysis, risk management, status reporting, project communication, and quality assurance. The intern will be responsible for monitoring and summarizing the progress of project(s), assisting in the preparation of reports for upper management regarding the status of the project, and tracking cost, labor, production schedules, parts, etc. in support of the project. The intern will utilize MS Project to track and complete assigned projects, monitor product quality and process control, suggest improvements as needed, and support the coordination and management of internal and external resources to accomplish project objectives. Additionally, the intern will coordinate communication between suppliers, customers, and team members as needed, and identify and help resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

Requirements

  • Student working towards a Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to work full time (40 hours per week) throughout the summer.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project.
  • CAPM certification.
  • Outstanding communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Strong technical aptitude in heavy equipment industry.

Responsibilities
