About The Position

Corporate Real Estate (CRE) provides strategic, proactive support for The Walt Disney Company's (TWDC) global real estate portfolio. This support is delivered through close collaboration with key stakeholders, offering subject matter expertise in design and construction, and presenting well-informed options that enable confident, business-aligned decisions. CRE drives results from concept through completion, balancing business needs with corporate standards to ensure effective and efficient project delivery. CRE is both responsible and accountable for managing all aspects of real estate requirements that support TWDC's business goals and objectives. Within CRE, the Design and Delivery (D&D) group leads the execution of capital construction projects across the portfolio—from project inception through design, permitting, construction, turnover, and occupancy —ensuring seamless delivery and operational readiness. This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the New York City, NY area from January 2026 - June 2026.

Requirements

  • Desires to learn more about Design, Construction and Infrastructure support.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong partnering skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working with AutoCAD.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
  • Previous experience working with vendors, contractors, consultants, architects, permits and/or facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the management of the design and construction of recurring asset replacement and smaller-scale tenant improvement projects within the East Coast Corporate Real Estate Portfolio.
  • Provide consistent, accurate, and realistic information to Project Manager (PM) for proposed plans and project opportunities.
  • Assist with developing schedules and estimates that will help the decision-making process.
  • Develop and apply robust project management processes and policies such as application of design standards, strong collaboration with internal Disney stakeholders during design and construction phases, and active management of all project vendors.
  • Assist PM with proactive communication of project status, active management of project risks and timely reporting of project costs.
