Each pump and compressor is configured to meet order specific technical specifications and customer requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred
  • 3-5 years in an engineering and/or technical fluid handling position
  • Will have strong communication skills and confidence in representing Honeywell Sundyne in daily communications with customers
  • Will have a strong general understanding of engineering sciences and be comfortable engaging in technical communication and decision making
  • Will be capable of working both independently as well as in a team environment
  • Will be dedicated to meet short deadlines and manage multiple customer orders simultaneously with a high degree of ownership for timely and accurate completion
  • Will have strong attention to detail, and a high degree of focus on customer satisfaction
  • Will have strong personal organization and time management skills
  • Will have experience or understanding of component manufacturing

Responsibilities

  • Review of customer order and technical specifications
  • Create pump and compressor bills of material specific to each order using Sundyne’s configuration tools, and collaboration with suppliers of special components
  • Selection of major supporting equipment (motors, heat exchangers, instruments, gages, etc.)
  • Providing direction to design/drafting resources to complete integration of supporting equipment
  • Review and approve engineering drawings and documentation
  • Aid in the disposition of non-conforming parts and troubleshoot test and assembly issues
  • Assist with the creation of quality plans and other related technical documentation and adhere to project schedules
