Each pump and compressor is configured to meet order specific technical specifications and customer requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred
- 3-5 years in an engineering and/or technical fluid handling position
- Will have strong communication skills and confidence in representing Honeywell Sundyne in daily communications with customers
- Will have a strong general understanding of engineering sciences and be comfortable engaging in technical communication and decision making
- Will be capable of working both independently as well as in a team environment
- Will be dedicated to meet short deadlines and manage multiple customer orders simultaneously with a high degree of ownership for timely and accurate completion
- Will have strong attention to detail, and a high degree of focus on customer satisfaction
- Will have strong personal organization and time management skills
- Will have experience or understanding of component manufacturing
Responsibilities
- Review of customer order and technical specifications
- Create pump and compressor bills of material specific to each order using Sundyne’s configuration tools, and collaboration with suppliers of special components
- Selection of major supporting equipment (motors, heat exchangers, instruments, gages, etc.)
- Providing direction to design/drafting resources to complete integration of supporting equipment
- Review and approve engineering drawings and documentation
- Aid in the disposition of non-conforming parts and troubleshoot test and assembly issues
- Assist with the creation of quality plans and other related technical documentation and adhere to project schedules
