About The Position

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. This position will support facilities in the new construction project management team. The job will be responsible for all financial reporting and invoice tracking for various projects in the yard. The candidate should be well versed in the Microsoft suite applications and have experience pulling financial information from software such as SAP.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant exempt experience; Master’s Degree and 1 years of relevant professional experience
• NNS Apprentice School graduate may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications
• Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications
• Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications
• Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications
• High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications
• High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications
• Must be well versed in the Microsoft suite applications
• Must have experience pulling financial information from software such as SAP
• US Citizenship Required

Nice To Haves

• Experience utilizing SAP and PPM software
• Well versed in Microsoft Excel
