About The Position

Piper Companies is looking for a Project Leader to join a design-build and engineering firm based out of Northern Virginia. Location for this work is Boydton, VA.

Requirements

Minimum 7+ years of experience in construction specific to Telecommunications & Security Systems with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Science, Information Technology, Construction Management, or Engineering discipline
Proficiency in the Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling Method and General Contractor Schedules
Extensive experience leading diverse teams & projects with construction budgets valued between $500K - $10M+ in Telecommunication Scopes
Minimum 4+ years of experience & established knowledge in complex markets on projects specific to Federal Aviation, & Government Airports, Higher-Education, Information Transit Systems
Experience in construction of low-voltage/ISP/OSP environments

Responsibilities

Leading the design and deployment of Integrated Infrastructure and telecommunications systems
Developing and maintaining project schedules in MS Project
Coordinating and running a project kick-off meeting (PKOM) and key monthly project (KPR) reviews
Preparing design/build project estimates and presenting proposals to customers
Forecasting cash flow and manpower needs for projects
Assuring a timely completion of a project including the completion of punch-list items, the submittal of accurate as-built drawings, operation, and maintenance manuals
