About The Position

Reporting to the Principal Geologist, you will support project level geology activities across the MMG operation. Your focus will be safe and efficient drill program execution, high quality logging, accurate interpretation and consistent contribution to project reporting and modelling. You will work closely with the site geology team to deliver reliable geological inputs for near mine and resource development studies. This role is site based and hands on, ideal for someone who enjoys working in the field and being directly involved in the technical heartbeat of the operation.

Requirements

• Degree in Geology or Geoscience
• Experience in drilling operations, logging and data QAQC
• Competent with Micromine and GIS platforms
• Comfortable working independently in field based environments
• Strong communicator with sound organisational skills

Nice To Haves

• Gold experience in WA is highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Planning and executing RC and diamond drilling programs
• Completing high quality geological and geotechnical logging
• Managing field activities, including rig supervision and earthworks
• Maintaining QAQC standards across sampling and assay workflows
• Updating models and contributing to weekly and monthly reports
• Preparing and submitting POW applications when required
• Supporting geological interpretation for project and study work
