About The Position

SLR International Corporation is seeking a Project Geologist to join our Portland, Oregon operations. Preferred candidates will have a strong and relevant academic, employment, and technical background. This role offers the opportunity to work on soil and groundwater assessment and remediation projects while also being exposed to other disciplines within the environmental consulting industry and will provide hands-on experience interacting with clients and contractors. Responsibilities Conduct field work for Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) with soil, groundwater and/or soil-vapor sampling Contractor/driller oversight for monitoring well installation, soil excavation, building demolition Coordinate long-term groundwater monitoring programs (i.e., quarterly events) Assist with obtaining permits and public utility locate requests for environmental construction tasks. Provide construction oversight on environmental remediation projects, operations, and maintenance of environmental remediation systems Assist in data interpretation and preparation of site work plans, spreadsheets, figures, conceptual site models, and technical reports Be engaged with the company’s Health & Safety program Effectively communicate with Project Managers, subcontractors, regulatory agents, tenants, and clients during field activities Work within quality/budget/schedule expectations and scope-specific assignments Working @ SLR With us, there is no doubt you’ll grow your subject-matter expertise and industry knowledge. The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $80,000. Final agreed upon compensation will be commensurate with individual education, professional designation, experience, internal parity, and location. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science or related field
• 2-4 years of experience with soil and groundwater assessment and remediation
