Role description: Arcadis seeks a Project Financial and Data Analyst to join our team supporting large-scale programs with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT). The ideal candidate has 5+ years’ experience in project, contract, or financial management support roles, with a strong emphasis on data analytics. In this role, you will support the Program Finance Manager and Project Managers by ensuring effective financial, contractual, and project data management. You will leverage your analytical skills to deliver accurate reporting, maintain compliance, and enhance project controls.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a project, contract, or financial program management support role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data analysis.
  • Very detail-oriented, proactive, organized, and reliable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly and work independently with minimal oversight.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years’ experience in the engineering or construction industry, working on project invoicing, contract compliance, or a similar role.
  • Experience with Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) processes and systems.
  • Experience with Bluebeam Revu (PDF software).
  • Experience with ProjectWise and Trimble/e-Builder platforms.
  • Experience working with Oracle Sales Cloud or similar project finance systems.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze data and reports for forecasts, program budgets, and ad-hoc financial reporting.
  • Generate and interpret data exports, delivering actionable analysis to support decision-making.
  • Assist with invoice reviews, project reviews, project financials, billing projections, and estimations.
  • Support the development and implementation of standard operating procedures for financial management and quality control.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of internal and subconsultant staffing details and bill rates through regular updates to project databases.
  • Collaborate with Arcadis staff, subconsultants, and clients to resolve contract compliance, invoicing, and billing issues.
  • Assist with monitoring and reporting on project expenditures for the program.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or as requested by the client to meet evolving project and program needs.
