Opportunities for Position Location: Greater Sacramento Area Bay Area Southern California Position Overview: The Data Center Project Executive is responsible for driving growth and expanding market presence within the data center and mission-critical construction sector. This role focuses on identifying new opportunities, developing client relationships, and supporting pursuit strategies for hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, and mission-critical data center projects.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Business or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years of experience in construction business development, preconstruction, or operations
  • Experience with data center or mission-critical projects
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Existing industry relationships in the data center market

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with data center owners, developers, operators, and key stakeholders
  • Identify new business opportunities and repeat program work
  • Track market trends and maintain a qualified opportunity pipeline
  • Lead or support go/no-go pursuit decisions
  • Coordinate proposals, interviews, and client presentations
  • Partner with preconstruction and estimating teams on early budgets and design-assist efforts
  • Support value engineering, scheduling strategies, and procurement planning
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences
  • Build strategic partnerships with designers, MEP contractors, and consultants
  • Provide regular pipeline and market updated to leadership
