The Project Executive - Preconstruction collaborates with Vice Presidents of Preconstruction, Account Managers/Project Executives, and operations teams to develop project-specific strategies, reduce risk, and support successful project delivery. Lead and support key preconstruction efforts, including Project Execution Plans, logistics plans, schedules, and GC/GR forecasting, while ensuring strong input and buy-in from the teams responsible for construction execution. Provide constructability and design quality reviews, lead or participate in peer reviews, and support subcontractor design assist/design-build procurement and management. Assist with procurement and buyout activities such as scope development, bid leveling, subcontract negotiations, and budget alignment. Participate in sales calls and project presentations, serve as Design Manager on design-build projects, and provide operational support during construction as needed. Also help guide and train preconstruction and operations staff throughout project planning and execution.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in the construction industry, with involvement across the full project lifecycle from inception through completion
• 10+ years of experience developing scopes of work and managing procurement, contracting, and negotiation processes
• 8+ years of experience leading resource planning, mentoring team members, and supporting business development initiatives
• 8+ years of experience in procurement planning, subcontractor network development, and post-bid analysis
• 8+ years of experience working with delivery models such as LS Bid, CM GMP, and Design-Build, and understanding their influence on preconstruction strategy
• 8+ years of experience in client-facing roles, including RFP development, proposal preparation, and presenting value-based solutions to stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field; or 8 years of equivalent experience plus 12+ years of relevant prior experience
• Currently, the company is not considering applicants for tis position who now or in the future require sponsorship by the company.
