About The Position

You will be the Items Analyst Associate Manager for the Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation (PHS&T) team at the Depot Support Facility in Orlando, FL. Our team ensures mission critical inventory sufficiency for military aviation and avionics systems throughout their life cycle, driving performance based logistics (PBL) success and total system performance responsibility (TSPR) contract compliance. As the Items Analyst Associate Manager you will lead a high performing group of supply chain professionals, shaping inventory strategy for more than $1.2 B of assets. You’ll partner with internal and external customers, apply advanced optimization models, and translate data into actionable decisions that keep aircraft flying and missions on track. Requirements

  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
  • The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills and the ability to effectively work within a diverse workforce.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project).
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • Ability to interface with a variety of information technology logistics applications.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and Full Spectrum Leadership attributes.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to establish priorities to meet contractual requirements/metrics.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional IPT environment.
  • Ability to interact with internal/external customers, cross-functional teams, and management.
  • Demonstrated performance in executing Contractor Support and Performance Based Logistics contract requirements.
  • Demonstrated depth of knowledge in DoD Inventory Control, Government audit procedures, and warehouse management.
  • Proven ability in establishing and/or maintaining DoD NICP efforts.
  • Well-versed in transportation solutions using commercial and DoD providers.
  • Previous experience as a custodian of Government Property.
  • Familiar with OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily operations of inventory, stock control, and asset redistribution across suppliers, repair facilities, 3PLs, and military locations.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, performance assessments, scheduling, and career development for all PHS&T staff.
  • Develop and enforce standard processes, desktop procedures, and metric driven dashboards to monitor supply posture and mission readiness.
  • Identify excess inventory, lead reduction initiatives, and execute contract close out activities (USG and international).
  • Forecast budget requirements, manage the manpower budget, and review weekly variance reports to spot trends.
  • Support transportation logistics for production, engineering, and field level operations.
  • Provide proposal support, respond to DoD RFPs, and manage service inquiries.
  • Resolve technical and support issues swiftly, ensuring accurate asset identification in company and DoD information systems.
  • Conduct performance reviews, handle disciplinary actions, and maintain a collaborative, high tempo work environment.
