Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field, or 5 or more years of experience managing large-scale engineering projects.
• 3 or more years of experience in project management, including proficiency with Gantt charts, budgeting, vendor coordination, and large system installations such as HVAC and manufacturing systems.
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical plans, manage project timelines, and maintain budget oversight.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Previous experience with multi-site engineering projects and the ability to coordinate complex processes across multiple disciplines.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel 50 to 70 percent, with the ability to manage your own travel schedule.
• Passion for learning and mastering the art of canmaking, while contributing to innovative projects in a growing company.

Responsibilities

• Manage major capital projects from inception to completion, overseeing project lifecycle management, execution, and resource coordination.
• Lead the development of project plans, create budgets, manage timelines, and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and plant teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Estimate project costs, manage financials including preparing purchase orders and processing invoices, and track project budgets.
• Organize and oversee complex system installations in multiple facilities, ensuring on-time and under-budget delivery.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical plans, and system diagrams to ensure project specifications are met.
• Lead project meetings, providing regular updates on progress, milestones, and risks, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.
• Gain hands-on experience with smaller-scale projects, working with plant champions while developing your skills in a collaborative, supportive environment.
