Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or higher in an Engineering discipline such as Chemical, Electrical Power or Controls, Facilities or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 4-8 years of proven technical ability and experience .
  • Project Management skills .
  • Computer skills, especially with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, SAP
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communications .
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service.
  • Proven team leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Six Sigma and 5S skills preferred

Responsibilities

  • Work in a team environment with plant engineering, maintenance and department personnel.
  • Attend plant engineering project and safety meetings.
  • Equipment and Process Design.
  • Effectively communicate equipment and process engineering information to the design staff.
  • Provide technical assistance to the maintenance, manufacturing, and plant services departments to assist in troubleshooting equipment, instrumentation, and process problems.
  • Have knowledge of OSHA and other applicable industry standards.
  • Project Management of Moderately-sized Capital projects ($10k - $1M).
  • Project Estimating and Budgeting.
  • Time management and Gantt charting.
  • Solicit and evaluate product and service quotations from various vendors.
  • Interface with and direct contracted vendors during equipment and process installations.
  • Participate in GTP environmental and safety activities to ensure a safe and environmentally compliant workplace.
