About The Position

Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) is currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer for our Land group in Laurel, Maryland. This position is responsible for hands-on design and management of land development and water resources projects in the Prince George's, Anne Arundel, Montgomery and Howard Counties of Maryland. The Project Engineer will be involved in initial project planning through preparation of construction documents and permitting. Candidates should have experience in private land development, including site plan design, roadways, permitting, erosion/sediment control (ESC) design, and experience in storm water management (SWM). Senior engineers may manage multiple projects, budgets, schedules, and County reviews, and communicate regularly with clients and company Principals to assure quality and timely completion of projects. Successful candidates should have the following qualifications and experience:

Requirements

  • 7 or more years of Experience in Private Land Development as Described Above
  • Professional Engineer preferred
  • Proficiency in recent version of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication
