About The Position
The Project Developer will support the program team to generate energy savings projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree - Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
- New Jersey Resident
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a drug and background screen
- Minimum of 3 years of Energy Efficiency experience, 5+ years preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of utility incentive program experience
- Must work at an expert level of Microsoft Office Suite
- Possess strong data entry skills
- Possess positive and self-confident phone presence
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask while staying organized
- The employee must have experience working in an office environment both independently as well as within a team structure.
- Additionally, the employee must have experience in Energy Efficiency and working on utility offered incentive programs.
- Ability to sit or stand for an extended period with visual, oral, and auditory requirements to carry out tasks of the role.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate existing energy measures.
- Suggest energy efficient upgrades for existing energy measures.
- Generate project scope in program tool to calculate financial details and energy savings
- Collaborate with management/energy advisors on all proposals
- Submit accurate and timely proposals
