The North America team is seeking an R&D Engineer for our Lansing, MI manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ___________________________________________________________________ Your Impact Lead development and improvement of products, taking ownership from concept through testing and production implementation. Partner cross-functionally with Product Management, Manufacturing, and Sales to deliver practical, customer-driven solutions. Plan and execute product testing, translating results into clear recommendations and design improvements. Troubleshoot and resolve product and process issues, supporting both manufacturing and field performance.Drive progress across projects by coordinating timelines, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring key milestones are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in product development, R&D, or a hands-on engineering environment.
  • Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and follow-through.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive accountability and meet deadlines, including influencing cross-functional partners and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in testing, analysis, and problem-solving.
  • Working knowledge of CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks)

Nice To Haves

  • exposure to FEA/CFD is a plus.
