About The Position

Overwatch Construction Management is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our construction management team. The Project Engineer will be responsible for supporting the management and coordination of various construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards. This role requires close collaboration with project managers, contractors, and clients to deliver successful project outcomes. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. Sponsorship for employment visas is not available.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
2-5 years of experience as a Project Engineer, ideally within construction management or similar settings.
Experience working for a general contractor or construction management firm
Cost and schedule management experience
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, or equivalent.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and reviewing project documentation such as RFIs, submittals, change orders, and ASIs.
Maintain organized project files and documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
Support change order management by reviewing requests for validity and pricing.
Coordinate with construction managers and site staff to verify site conditions and project progress.
Facilitate project closeout and turnover processes efficiently.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies on site.
