Jump into the heart of construction procurement by helping build Commercial Packages: develop pricing solicitations, perform takeoffs, track budgets and schedules, and keep project teams moving with well-organized documentation and vendor coordination. Take ownership of project records by preparing and managing bids, purchase orders, change orders, compliance forms, and progress reports—your attention to detail will keep projects on track and transparent. Work side-by-side with experienced leaders, including Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Directors supporting Commercial Package coordination across design, preconstruction, procurement, construction, materials, and commissioning. Lead the charge on smaller RFPs (1–3 at a time, typically during Due Diligence and Design), guiding them from issuance to proposal review and vendor selection meetings—while shadowing larger, more complex packages to accelerate your learning curve. Drive the flow of Commercial Package work by developing and issuing pricing packages, coordinating RFIs, partnering with the Development Project team on sourcing solutions, and compiling results into insights the team can act on. Sharpen your estimating and analytical skills by monitoring budgets against proposals, ensuring schedule compliance, supporting takeoff exercises with Autodesk, and evaluating change orders for accuracy and validity. Play a key role in securing critical project success by coordinating long-lead material procurement and guiding vendors through onboarding, vetting, and compliance reporting. Step onto job sites and into OAC Meetings to experience construction from the owner’s perspective—contributing to field observations, compliance checks, and quality assurance tied to drawings, safety standards, and policies. Build relationships across the industry by collaborating with QTS stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and design partners to support entitlement, permitting, preconstruction planning, and capital budgeting. Invest in your career growth by actively pursuing professional development, staying plugged into industry best practices, and learning the specialized world of mission-critical construction and project delivery.
