Requirements

Bachelors degree in engineering or construction management preferred
3+ years of experience preferred on CDOT Heavy Civil Construction Projects in construction or related.

Responsibilities

Actively participate in overall day-to-day operational leadership and decision making as a subject matter expert for project civil management functions
Work with suppliers, subcontractors and third-party engineers to develop submittals, shop drawings and working drawings for various items to maintain project schedule
Participate in scheduling meetings, production reporting, quantity tracking and managing work daily operations for execution of the project work scope for various items
Track and process orders/payments for suppliers and work performed by subcontractors for various items
Take part in project team input for project safety, construction planning, interpretation of design, development of efficient construction methods and quality control processes for execution of work
Monitor and oversee subcontractor scope work including schedule, quality testing, inspection, production, and adherence to contract plans and specifications
Provide overall leadership to ensure work is constructed in compliance and work quality is accurately documented
