You will be the Project Engineer for the Missiles & Fire Control Industrial Engineering team. Our team is responsible for applying manufacturing and Industrial Engineering concepts to support site‑wide production. What You Will Be Doing As the Project Engineer you will be responsible for driving the planning, scheduling, and execution of manufacturing and space‑planning related projects. You will serve as the primary liaison among Production, Engineering, Facilities, Program Management, and functional leadership. You will develop and maintain detailed project plans, an integrated master schedule, and status artifacts to keep work on track, and you may manage multiple projects simultaneously. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Project Planning & Scheduling – develop comprehensive project plans and schedules, maintain baseline schedules, track critical paths, and update forecasts when scope changes or risks arise. Cross‑Functional Coordination – partner with Production, Engineering, Facilities, Program Management, and other functional teams to define requirements, milestones, and deliverables; facilitate regular coordination meetings, capture action items, and close loops on decisions. Stakeholder Communication – produce and distribute regular status reports and executive briefings to senior leadership and stakeholders. Risk & Compliance Management – identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while enforcing Lockheed Martin safety and compliance standards. Support Analyses – assist in developing cost estimates, return‑on‑investment analyses, and business cases for new project proposals.
