Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee field investigations including topographic, bathymetric, and discharge surveys using RTK GPS, ADCP, and other instruments
  • Develop, calibrate, and validate advanced hydrologic and hydraulic models (e.g., HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM) to support ecological restoration and watershed planning
  • Analyze and synthesize environmental data using GIS (ArcGIS Pro) and CAD (AutoCAD Civil 3D) and ensure QA/QC of technical deliverables
  • Prepare and review technical reports, regulatory documentation, and design packages with minimal oversight
  • Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and staffing; ensure timely and high-quality deliverables
  • Serve as a primary or secondary client contact; contribute to proposal development and business development strategies
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal training, technical standards, and knowledge sharing
  • Provide strategic input on ecological flow response monitoring, environmental impact assessments, and water policy implementation
