Job Summary: Polaris, a global powersports leader, is seeking a Project Engineer in the Vehicle Electronics and Software team. This position supports the execution of design and development activities from concept to production for vehicle electronics, embedded software, electrical systems, and connected technologies. The role focuses on coordinating engineering tasks, tracking progress, identifying issues, supporting risk mitigation, and ensuring alignment with program goals across multiple vehicle platforms.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of engineering or engineering project experience in a similar industry.
  • Strong technical background; background in electronics, embedded software, or system integration preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with project management tools and basic scheduling methods.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Detail‑oriented with a focus on quality and customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate engineering tasks and support execution of VES deliverables across multiple projects.
  • Support Business Unit and Program leadership by tracking VES scope, requirements, issues, and risks.
  • Apply the Polaris Product Development Process (PDP) to ensure engineering requirements are documented and met.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, resource needs, and budget estimates.
  • Ensure electrical/software deliverables remain aligned with platform and feature requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve issues, gather inputs, and maintain alignment.
  • Prepare clear and concise status updates for program leadership across the organization.
  • Contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture.
  • Other duties as assigned.
