This position is for the F-35 Engineering Project Office and the successful candidate will support the F-35 Reliability & Maintainability Improvement Program (RMIP). The successful candidate will possess excellent organization, communication, and leadership skills to collaborate cross-functionally with senior leadership, functional engineering departments, and the Joint Program Office (JPO) customers. This role requires a strong understanding of cost, schedule, and performance drivers, as well as the ability to lead projects. Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in engineering/technical discipline.
  • Program Management, project engineering, systems engineering or similar experience.
  • Experience developing and managing project/program schedules.
  • 5+ years professional experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree from an accredited college.
  • Experience working with F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO).
  • Certified Control Account Manager (CAM) experience in both labor and material.
  • Understanding of performance based sustainment principles (Air Vehicle Availability, Mission Capability, Life Cycle Cost Avoidances and R&M Metrics).
  • Experience with F-35 systems and tools (PDM, JDL, LDM, APTS, Tableau, confluence, SharePoint, etc).

Responsibilities

  • Integrating and communicating across cross-functional teams and organizations.
  • Driving engineering improvement projects to completion.
  • Provide liaison support between engineering leadership and the program management office.
  • Developing and maintaining briefings, presentations, and engineering metrics.
  • Leading and supporting status meetings for internal teams, suppliers, and external customers.
