About The Position

This position will support multiple site stand-up activities including the use of MDCX Ground Control Stations (GCS) as a part of the MQ-25 Integrated Test Team (ITT). Candidate will be permanently assigned to NAS Patuxent River, MD. Extensive travel may be required in support of site stand-up and test detachment support. As a Quality Engineer, you will be a vital part of the product delivery and Flight Test team. The selected candidate responsibilities will include: Apply quality principles in the areas of: incoming material, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality. Performs technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, drawings and procedures. Collaborates with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place. Engages in product failure investigations and corrective/preventive action. Ensures corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements. Evaluates quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts product quality tests, performs statistical analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Required to work off shifts, overtime and nonstandard work weeks as needed to meet product deliveries. Secret clearance to start, ability to attain Top Secret desired. Requirements

Prior Quality Control experience
Military equivalent (Quality Assurance Representative. Air Force- 7-9 Level Certification) or civilian equivalent
Ability to comprehend and interpret drawings, work instructions, schematics, and specifications
Familiarity with Ground and Flight Test operations
Experience driving robust Corrective Actions Root Cause and Corrective Action
Secret clearance to start, ability to attain Top Secret desired

Nice To Haves

Security+
Familiarity with DCMA INST 8210 / NAVAIRINST 3710, experience GFR/GGR interactions
Familiarity with Naval Aviation Maintenance Deficiency Reporting Programs (NAMDRP) & COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790
Familiarity with Unmanned aircraft and ground control stations
