About The Position

WHAT WE'RE DOING We lead the planning, organization, control, integration, and successful completion of large‑scale engineering programs. By aligning technical solutions with financial targets, we ensure our projects meet rigorous engineering standards, customer contract requirements, and company specifications across multiple years and hundreds of engineers. THE WORK Program Planning & Financial Coordination Develop and manage the engineering program using financial inputs, on‑site/off‑site proposals, bids, and BOEs. Create and maintain an integrated financial plan that drives project organization and control. Design Review & Compliance Review product designs for adherence to engineering principles, corporate standards, and contract specifications. Evaluate and approve design changes, specification updates, and drawing releases. Apply BCR and ETB update experience for rapid contract modifications when needed. Technical Leadership & Problem Solving Partner with senior leadership to coordinate technical development activities and schedule milestones. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve engineering design and test challenges to keep projects on track. WHO YOU ARE Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑year engineering initiatives involving large teams. Strong analytical skills with a track record of using financial data to drive program decisions. Expertise in engineering design review, change control, and compliance verification. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of influencing cross‑functional stakeholders. Experience with BCR (Baseline Change Request) and ETB (Engineering Technical Baseline) updates is a plus.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a Masters degree.
  • Cost Account Management (CAM) experience
  • Experience in Project Execution or Program Management; supporting programs or projects to achieve their cost, schedule, and technical goals.
  • Previous experience with generating metricsbased Basis-Of Estimates (BOEs) and providing proposal support
  • Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Previous Risk & Opportunity Management responsibility
  • Highly proficient with MS Excel to include advanced functions
  • Experience developing and executing program and project plans
  • Experience using JIRA Issue and Project Tracking Software

  • Agile Software Development Experience
  • Understanding of System, Software, and Hardware Engineering processes
  • Demonstrated experience providing status and program deliverables to customers
  • Complete Program Lifecycle - Experience on Development and Sustainment programs
  • Ability to multi-task and support multiple internal efforts simultaneously
