About The Position

We are Lockheed Martin You will be the Project Engineer for the production operations team within the F-35 Line of Business Engineering (LoBE) organization assigned responsibility, authority, and accountability for execution of Engineering & Technology contracts achieving program cost, schedule, and performance targets. What You Will Be Doing The successful Project Engineer will lead cross-functional project teams across production operations, program management, and chief engineering stakeholders to drive solutions for high impact, high visibility challenges. Responsibilities will include: Serve as the Combat Systems project engineer for the Production Operations LoBE Team. Coordinate with the Development and Production Readiness LoBE Teams to identify, track and mitigate production-risk items. Lead and manage projects addressing Combat Systems and Air Vehicle issues impacting Production. Manage Engineering Contracts related to Production (EVMS performance, Integrated Master Plans, and Integrated Master Schedule). Prepare and brief Leadership on projects and contract Status. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in engineering/technical discipline or related experience.
  • 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
  • Proven program/project management experience.
  • Combat systems experience.
  • Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • F-35 Production experience.
  • Risk/opportunity management experience.
  • Experience developing and presenting executive-level briefings.
  • Experience with contract management: scope, budget, risk, schedule, and Earned Value Management System (EMVS) principles.
