Visit us here to learn more about Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects THE WORK: You'll provide technical and engineering support to the Program Management Office (PMO) and College Project Teams (CPT) including Project Managers and Construction Managers. You'll coordinate with Program Management Office (PMO) and College Project Team (CPT) staff, contractors, architects, engineers, inspectors, consultants and College staff. You'll participate in, and occasionally run, design or construction meetings. You'll make field checks on construction, demolition, rehabilitation, alteration addition or repair projects to determine compliance with job specifications, plans, established College standards, and Division of the State Architect (DSA) requirements. You'll read and interpret construction plans and shop drawings. You'll assist in preparing written materials including correspondence, reports, procedures, and guidelines. You'll support development of weekly/monthly status and photos reports for project team. You'll review, estimate, negotiate, and processe construction change orders and construction field orders. You'll review and enforce construction and professional services contracts. You'll manage and direct contractors and outside consultants including reviewing and approving invoices. You'll assess project risks, develop risk registers including mitigation strategies, and facilitate resolutions of construction and design issues. You'll coordinate with Architects for timely and accurate responses to requests for information, submittals, Construction Change Documents, etc. and generate and distribute meeting minutes (construction meetings, design meetings, etc.). You'll confirm contractor’s maintenance of record drawings prior to monthly progress payments to the Contractor. You'll maintain project files in both electronic and paper format and review submittals for conformance to plans and specifications.
