RESPONSIBILITIES • Collaborates with affected departments during project development to vet resource estimates, schedules, business benefits, environmental/health/safety impacts. • Supports project detailed design and technical reviews to ensure design meets corporate engineering standards. • Prepares bid requests for material, labor, and equipment and evaluate proposals on sound engineering and business principles. • Supports multiple projects simultaneously of varying magnitude and complexity from conception to commissioning and start-up. • Acts as a safety leader who upholds company core values and prioritizes personal and process safety. Prepares and leads engaging project safety meetings, drives safely, utilizes the MOC process, and supports the development and implementation of business partner energy isolation procedures. Supports department and company HES goals. • Troubleshoots operational issues and optimizes processes utilizing sound engineering practices. • Participates in project safety reviews including HAZOPs, PHAs, PSSRs, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, civil, chemical, or electrical engineering or other related engineering degree from ABET accredited institution required.
  • Zero (0) to three (3) years of related experience required.
