Ensures multiple suppliers and hired professional services comply with policies, procedures, and governing authorities. Develops procedures for operations, preparing and monitoring operations, and providing analysis of capacity needs, product variance, procedures, technology, and staffing. Leads the monitoring, analysis, and recommendation of methods to improve productivity, service, and cost performance. Leads and serve on special study teams, oversee research, evaluation, and recommendations of emerging technology and management methodologies. Leads and oversees: Projects and studies in support of objectives, as well as planning, organizing, and scheduling activities for initiatives, is also part of the role. Development of project and communication plans, project status to stakeholders, and requirement specifications. Studies to implement innovative concepts into operations, systems, and customer solutions to benefit FedEx and its customers Collection, analysis, and reporting of financial and operational indicators for corporate and departmental initiatives Design and delivery of technical training to personnel through workshops, seminars, and one-on-one sessions in areas such as operations, manning, contingency planning, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. Evaluaes capital and expense requests, annual and long-range budget processes, and leading the development of operational and project budgets based on cost-saving recommendations are also part of the role. Ensures regulatory compliance in solution design, system development, and testing. Prepares and presents business justifications to support funding approval processes. Leads communication between operations and corporate departments to provide technical and local expertise related to corporate or department initiatives and operations.
