About The Position

The Creative Project Director serves Union Church’s Creative Department as it’s primary project manager, planner, and operational strategist. This role oversees the planning, coordination, an execution of creative deliverables across Graphic Design, Videography, Online Platforms, Marketing, and Social Media. In addition to managing timelines, scopes, and workflows, the Creative Project Director functions as a strategic partner to the Executive Pastor of Creative, ensuring that creative initiatives are aligned with Union Church’s mission, brand standards, and ministry priorities. This role requires exceptional administrative skill, high creative literacy, strong cross-functional leadership, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent campaigns and projects in face-paced environments.

  • Flexible schedule. (Workweek is Sunday-Thursday. Frequent night and weekend availability will be requested)
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for 30 minutes.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Oversees all creative department projects from brief through execution, establishing timelines, scopes, budget estimates, and implementation plans while proactively identifying and mitigating risk. 50%
  • Team Coordination/Leadership: Serves as the day-to-day project lead for all teams within the Creative Department, ensuring timely execution, alignment, and accuracy across all deliverables. 20%
  • Creative Strategy & Campaign Planning: Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ideate and plan creative elements that effectively communicate the mission, vision, and culture of Union Church. 20%
  • Pastoral Care & Administrative Tasks: Provides team support, maintains department operations, and upholds the culture and values of Union Church. 10%
