Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in project coordination, controls, or management.
  • Judgment: Demonstrates a high degree of foresight and mature judgment in planning and guiding extensive projects of importance.
  • Organizational Mastery: Strong organizational skills essential for managing multiple tasks, schedules, and resources simultaneously.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge gaps between technical and non-technical teams.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8 hours or more daily; requires constant use of arms, hands, legs, and back.
  • Safety and Compliance: This position is designated a safety-sensitive position and/or is located in a safety-sensitive facility. Drug and alcohol program participation is required.
  • Professional Mindset: A team player with a "can-do" attitude and a willingness to take on additional roles as the company grows.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Proficiency in advanced project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, or Jira).
  • Experience with budget forecasting and cost-benefit analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Documentation Management: Organizing, managing, and updating project-related documents to ensure version control and accessibility.
  • Meeting Coordination: Scheduling and organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and taking detailed minutes to drive accountability.
  • Project Reporting: Preparing dashboards, project reports, and status updates for the development team to visualize progress.
  • Financial Controls: Maintaining project budgets, identifying potential cost overruns, and meticulously tracking expenses.
  • Action Item Tracking: Recording and monitoring project action items to ensure no task falls through the cracks.
  • Risk & Roadblock Analysis: Analyzing risks and opportunities; collaborating with Technical Project Managers to identify and remove operational roadblocks.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicating project updates effectively to various stakeholders, including clients and internal teams.
