About The Position

Responsibilities: Provide leadership and direction to junior designers and work in collaborative teams Responsible for the production or supervision of conceptual and schematic level drawings, renderings and diagrams. Direct development of innovative design concepts with project teams to produce constructable solutions. Responsible for exterior material research and selections and construction detailing to maintain design intent throughout the design process. Responsible for leading client facing and internal design presentations and charrettes. Perform early programming and loading capacity studies. Interface and collaborate with interior designers and landscape designers for cohesive overall designs Work with internal and external visualization designers to produce best in class renderings and animations Help in the production of quality design awards both locally and nationally. Qualifications Professional Degree and/or Master’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Architecture, or related field and 8-10 years of experience in a project design role; licensure preferred. A strong portfolio highlighting professional work experience; strong ability to multitask and pivot quickly between projects; knowledge of building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, building materials, specifications, and construction techniques. Proficieny in Rhino, Sketch-up, Test Fit and other 3D modelling software; Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Revit and AutoCAD and sketching skills a plus LEED or WELL accreditation is a plus Excellent written + verbal communication skills, client and consultant relationship management Why Moody Nolan?
