About The Position

Cost specialists are responsible for tracking and reporting all costs associated with the assigned line of projects and business, and for interfacing with all relevant personnel, including project managers and accounting job-cost personnel, to keep clients informed of project costs and progress.

Requirements

Strong knowledge/mastery in Spectrum, Microsoft AX, Excel, and the entire Microsoft Suite of programs.
Experience in capturing data and reporting for EVM analysis – Forecasting using CPI, SPI, using Primavera P6 schedules, etc.
Ability to manage a large amount of data and work together with a variety of project managers and accounting job-cost specialists.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Power Platform (i.e., Power Query, Power Pivot, Power BI, Power Apps)

Responsibilities

Review project estimates
Tracking/Managing Costs
Assisting in managing project budgets
Developing Forecasts
Creating new reports and templates
Integrating the scope growth process with the forecast
Extracting data at the WBS and WO level
Performing data analysis
General understanding of COMPANY PURCHASE ORDER process (creation, amending, closing, etc.)
