The Public Health Law Watch (PHLW) is an initiative of the George Consortium in collaboration with the Center for Health Policy and Law - School of Law (CHPL) at Northeastern University. We monitor and analyze litigation activity that affects public health authority. CHPL and PHLW have recently launched the Advancing Public Health and Health Equity in the Courts (Amicus) program to initiate a coordinated effort to strengthen public health and health equity in litigation. The PHLW is looking for a fully remote-eligible, part time, non-benefits eligible Project Coordinator to support the Amicus program team, under the leadership of the Program Director. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for administrative, communications, logistical, and programmatic elements of the project. This role will assist on a variety of impactful projects, working closely with leadership and varied constituents to create, maintain and monitor project documentation. The role will work with the Program Director to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met by coordinating with diverse stakeholders on action items to achieve desired outcomes. The role will be responsible for developing and maintaining databases to keep track of individuals and organizations who have been engaged in the project, developing a virtual rolodex of legal contacts, and coordinating virtual meetings. This role will manage all logistical arrangements for programming including program attendees, speakers, and travel arrangements. The Project Coordinator will draft communications, such as emails, social media posts, and other outreach materials; as well as update the website.
